Smart Batteries can charge from solar panels or grid electricity when this is available.Residential systems can be install on any home or apartments and usually consist in one 6 Kw hybrid inverter and 4 to 5 smart batteries linked together.
Output power can be customises from 2.5 Kw when using one battery to 28 Kw for 8 maximum batteries in parallel.
The smart batteries will be nicely installed in to a cabinet for safety and place anywhere inside your property.
Charging the batteries using hybrid inverters can be done in two different ways:
1. Charging from solar panels. Completely Off-Grid Battery.
This in most common way to charge smart batteries is from solar power.
The advantage is that the system can be completely off grid without being connected to any external power line.
Input power from solar panels is maximum 6 Kw.
Output power from inverter is 3 Kw.
2. Charging from grid (when grid is available). Grid Connected Battery.
A second option is to charge the smart batteries from grid and redeliver the power at any time, even when the grid is off.
The advantage of this option is that no solar panels is required. This option is ideal for apartments or properties without available space on the roof for solar pv installation.

Hybrid Inverter on Single Phase and three Phase Installation.
One Residential low voltage battery kit works on single phase output. For more power, 3 hybrid inverters can be used for 3 phase installations.
